The School Pattern Map™ helps educational teams identify:

• What the student looks like when Available, Strained, and Protective

• The Load Builders contributing to changes in state

• What happens to Access to communication, flexibility, executive functioning, social skills, regulation, independence, and more

• Which Responses and supports may better match what the student needs

The goal is to move beyond reacting to behavior and start understanding what’s happening underneath it and what to do with that information.
